By means of his words, actions, and guiding through the stormy sea of the African-American struggle for civil rights, he stood against the forces of racism, segregation, and social injustice whilst being an advocate for love, dignity, and nonviolent resistance. King’s receiving the Nobel Peace Prize is a symbol that his memory lives on and continues to ignite the struggles for freedom, human rights, and compassionate leadership all over the planet.
