About Buddha
Buddha, or Siddhartha Gautama (circa 563–483 BCE), was a sage and thinker, and his doctrine that formed Buddhism. He was born a royal in the old India and; later gave up the materialistic life to find out the truth and to become enlightened. After many years of meditation, he got the enlightenment under the Bodhi tree and devoted his life to teaching the way out of suffering. Mindfulness, compassion, wisdom, and inner peace were his main teachings, which have had a positive effect on millions of people all over the world.
